We do not store your card information without your permission.

How do I complete my order?

Can I change my order?

Yes, you can change your order. Please note that any changes will cause delays in the processing and delivery of your products.

Can I cancel my order?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return the products subject to the terms in our returns and refund policy. Please contact us at online@usn.co.za within seven (7) days of delivery, and specify the reason for your return. Refer to our returns and refund policy for more information.

Can I order products without registering and creating a profile?

Yes, you can order products from the USN website without creating a profile. If you already have an account, you will also be able to order without logging in.

How can I see how much stock is available on the website?

Our website shows the availability of stock based on the current day’s stock level. If there is no stock available in our warehouse, it will not be available for order on our website.

Can I order products that are out of stock?

No, you will not be able to order products that are out of stock. Check back again soon for new stock.

What should I do if I have any medical concerns?

Please send an email with details about your concerns to info@usn.co.za and we will correspond with you from there. Remember that you should always consult with your healthcare practitioner regarding supplements, changes in diet and exercise.

SHIPPING

How long does delivery take?

Deliveries take 2–6 working days. We do not process or deliver orders over weekends or public holidays.

Estimated time of delivery in the Johannesburg and Pretoria area: 48–72 hours after the parcel is dispatched with the courier.

Estimated time of delivery to other metropolitan areas: within 72 hours after the parcel is dispatched with the courier.

Estimated time of delivery to outlying areas: four (4) days after the parcel is dispatched with the courier. Some outlying areas are only serviced on certain days of the week, which might affect delivery times. We will communicate with you should there be a delay.

How can I track my delivery?

Once you’ve placed your order, and we have successfully processed your payment, you will receive an email with your courier tracking number. You can use this number to track delivery after the parcel has been dispatched. You will also receive an SMS from the courier once your order has been dispatched and it is on its way to you.

Can I order from usn.co.za if I live outside of South Africa?

No, we can only deliver products within the borders of South Africa. However, if you provide us with all your details, we can put you in contact with a distributor that is closest to you. Please send your information to info@usn.co.za and we will assist you from there.

What is the cut-off time for order processing each day?

Orders placed before 15:00 on a business day will be dispatched that same evening. If you place an order after 15:00, it will be dispatched on the next business day's evening. Orders placed over weekends and public holidays will be processed on a Monday or the following business day. Please expect delays in these timelines on special days like Black Friday or month-end when order volumes are higher.

What is the delivery cost for items purchased online?

Delivery is free on orders over R800 (i.e. R801 and more). A flat rate of R99 will apply for orders under R800 (i.e. R800 and less).

How do I change my delivery address?

Can I get the same online sales or combo items at any physical retailer?

No, our online combos and specials are exclusively available on our website.

Where can I find USN’s full range of products and prices?

Our full range of products (with prices) is available on our website. We also stock a selection of products at leading retailers—Dis-Chem, Clicks, Makro and Game—and selected smaller retailers.

How should I use my supplements?

All the usage instructions are on the packaging, including the serving size of each product. Please follow the instructions when using the products. You can also refer to the directions for use information on the website. This information is available when you click on a product.

Can I use supplements while I am pregnant/breastfeeding?

No. We advise against using sport supplementation during pregnancy and/or lactation. If you find out that you are pregnant, stop using sport supplementation immediately. Please consult your healthcare professional as to what supplementation you may or may not use during these times.

Can I use any supplements if I am a professional athlete?

If you are subject to anti-doping testing, you should be mindful of what you supplement with. Please consult this with a medical professional or your professional coaching staff on supplementation and anti-doping testing. Do I have to exercise and eat well-balanced meals when taking supplements?

Yes, a good training and diet routine are essential for your goals and will yield optimal results.

Yes, we do have a stimulant-free fat burner that you can use if you are sensitive to stimulants like Phedra Cut Lipo X Night. You can also use the CLA Pure 1 000 (stimulant-free toner) and L-carnicut (stimulant-free fat burning aid).

Can I use protein powders if I am diabetic?

Yes, depending on your individual sugar tolerance. Our Zero Carb IsoPro contains 0 g carbohydrates and 0 g sugar per serving.

Please monitor your total sugar intake each day. We also recommend that you consult with your healthcare professional before taking any supplementation to confirm which supplements you are allowed to take if you have any chronic conditions.

What does creatine do?

Creatine helps increase the peak power output of muscle, strength, performance and endurance.

Which creatine product should I use?

The variants in our creatine range differ mostly to accommodate different budgets and preferences.

Which USN products are Informed-Choice certified?

Are USN shakes suitable for people with lactose intolerance?

Yes, some of our shakes are suitable for people with lactose intolerance. Products like BlueLab® 100% Whey Protein, Hardcore Whey gH, Diet Whey & Collagen and Diet Fuel contain Tolerase™ L, an enzyme that breaks down lactose and prevents symptoms associated with lactose intolerance.

What are Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs)?

There are three BCAAs:

  • Leucine—promotes muscle anabolism (muscle building), as it is an anabolic amino acid that prevents muscle catabolism (muscle breakdown).
  • Isoleucine—boosts energy levels.
  • Valine—regulates the immune system. BCAAs are usually in a ratio of 2:1:1 or 12:1:1 (Leucine: Isoleucine: Valine).
USN sells the following BCAA products: Some other products, such as BlueLab® 100% Whey Protein, All9™ Amino, Hydrotech™ Whey, Casein Protein, Zero Carb IsoPro and the BlueLab® 100% Plant Protein also contain BCAAs as part of their formulas.

What are the benefits of glutamine?

Glutamine is a conditional essential amino acid. It is involved in almost all chemical and cell reactions in the human body. It aids the recovery of muscle inflammation due to exercise or sport, hence decreasing muscle soreness and muscle stiffness, helping muscles recover faster. It is also responsible for lean muscle development.
